This post is a follow on from our previous blog which we published on the 13th of April. In part one of this blog by our guest writer, Dinesh Subhraveti of AppOrbit, discussed technological containers at length by firstly giving us a brief background of the product. He then went on to talk about the myth of stateless apps and how containers encapsulate more than just the server-side state of the application. In the final part of this two part series he examines how this important technology can be deployed in new and exciting use cases in the enterprise before ending with a brief summary.
More than a decade after the first research paper on Linux containers was published, and the first implementation of the technology was developed, containers are now being finally used in areas and ways that could not have been anticipated.

We at Texuna would like to congratulate our partners Pentaho on being named a ‘Visionary’ in the 2016 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms. Gartner’s assessments take into account the vendors’ current product offerings, direct customer feedback and overall strategies, as well as their future initiatives and product road maps. This Magic Quadrant will help business leaders that are developing their BI strategies to assess whether they have the right products and enterprise platforms to support them.
